Basic Pistol

This course is held in Northeast Philadelphia at Delaware Valley Sports Center. It is designed to introduce beginners to the safe and responsible handling, shooting & ownership of a handgun.

You will learn:

• gun safety

• types of handguns

• how the guns function

• loading and unloading

• how ammunition works

• the fundamentals of shooting accurately

• proper stance and grip

• how to react to malfunctions

• cleaning & maintenance

• and much more

$150. includes 2 hours in the classroom, 1 hour on the shooting range, eye and ear protection, 1 handgun rental, and targets.

Ammunition is available and is charged separately due to varying prices (typically $20.) and that is the only thing you will need to pay for aside from the course. If you own a pistol you are welcome to bring (unloaded before entering the classroom please).
